Express Entry - Test

As a potential candidate for Express Entry, you may come to Canada via one of the following federal immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, or the Canadian Experience Class. Each program has its own set of eligibility criteria and requirements designed to attract a diverse range of skilled immigrants who can contribute to the Canadian economy.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is tailored for skilled workers who have gained work experience in Canada and wish to become permanent residents. This program values the contributions of those already integrated into the Canadian workforce and society. Eligible candidates must have at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada, among other requirements.

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)

The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program is designed for individuals with foreign work experience who have the skills needed to establish themselves economically in Canada. Candidates are assessed based on factors such as age, education, work experience, and language proficiency. This program aims to attract highly skilled immigrants who can contribute significantly to the Canadian economy.

Federal Skilled Trades (FST)

The Federal Skilled Trades (FST) program is aimed at skilled workers qualified in a skilled trade who want to become permanent residents of Canada. To be eligible, candidates must have a valid job offer or a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial, or federal authority. This program helps address labor shortages in specific trades across the country.
